Her voice is reflective of the Old Regular Baptist ornamented singing. The songs she has written are poetic in terms of evoking whole scenarios with just a few words.

If we respond better (avoiding anger and fear) to people who bully, often they stop bullying. The point, according to this author, is to not treat people as enemies--people who are treated as enemies often become enemies and the opposite is frequently true, also. I have experienced turning bullying people into friends by refusing my own desire to be angry and instead treat them with respect.

It's on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6 pm to midnight (unless Ohio State has a hockey game). Look for WOSU AM 820. If you're local to Central Ohio, they announce all the bluegrass-related events coming up and even local bluegrass news about people around here.
